The Intention Behind Rēl ease
A different way of approaching care.
Rēl Ease was born from a simple observation:
We have become very good at living through discomfort.
We push through the tension.
We normalize exhaustion.
We ignore the signals until they become impossible to ignore.
But the body is constantly communicating with us.
Rēl ease was created as a space to listen.
Through acupuncture, therapeutic touch, scalp and hair care, facial rejuvenation, and sound, this practice brings together different ways of working with the body — from the physical and tangible to the subtle and energetic.
The intention isn't to overwhelm you with another thing to “do.”
It is to give you somewhere to stop doing.
To breathe.
To soften.
To let the nervous system settle.
To experience what it feels like to simply be cared for.
Why Rēl ease exists.
My work is rooted in a simple belief:
The body knows how to heal — it just needs space to do so.
In a world that moves quickly and asks a lot of us, many people live in a constant state of tension without realizing it. Stress becomes normal. Fatigue and pain becomes expected. Disconnection becomes familiar.
Through acupuncture, therapeutic touch, and nervous system support, I offer a place where you can slow down — even if only for an hour — and allow your body to shift out of survival mode.
My approach is grounded in traditional East Asian medicine and shaped by years of hands-on experience working with the body, including two decades as a hair stylist. This has given me a raw understanding of how stress, emotion, and lived experience are carried physically — in posture, in the scalp, in the breath, and in my client’s day-to-day lifestyle.
Most treatments are a hybrid session of Acupuncture & Therapeutic Massage Techniques. Using this knowledge to support both structural and internal balance.
My work focuses on:
Pain Relief (Physically & Emotionally)
Supporting the nervous system
Helping the body move into rest and repair
Addressing stress-related tension and pain
Supporting emotional processing
Encouraging preventative care rather than crisis care
Supporting true natural beauty
Holistically supporting regulation of the body’s system
This is not about quick fixes.
It is about creating a quiet shift back toward balance — in a way that feels natural, sustainable, and deeply human. This is not about performance or perfection.
It is about returning to a more natural state of ease.
The Hands Behind the Practice
My path into this work began long before acupuncture.
For more than 20 years, I worked closely with people through hair and beauty — learning how much of ourselves we carry physically.
The scalp holds tension.
The jaw holds tension.
The shoulders hold tension.
And sometimes, simply being touched with care can create a moment of release.
That understanding eventually led me toward acupuncture and deeper study of the body.
Today, my work brings together those experiences — acupuncture, massage, scalp and hair knowledge, facial care, and a growing exploration of sound and vibration.
I see these not as separate services, but as different ways of caring for the same person.
The whole person.
